If your design doesn’t start with the user, it’s already off track. Strip away the visuals for a second. What problem is being solved? What tension is being removed? If you can’t answer that, you’re not building a product — you’re building an artifact. A beautiful interface with no utility is dead weight. It ships, it gets ignored, and it disappears. Adoption comes from relevance, not aesthetics. From solving something real, not showcasing taste. Purpose is the foundation — not a layer you add later.
